Statistical highlights – India vs South Africa, 2nd T20I: Indians seen themselves trashed by South Africa with a poor batting performance on the tricky pitch who failed to put on par total. As a result, the South Africans defeated India by 7 wickets at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack and took the 2-0 lead with another game left in the 3 match T20I series.

84 – Zimbabwe’s total of 84 vs New Zealand in 2010 was lowest score in T20Is after a 25 and plus opening run stand. India’s total of 92 is 2nd lowest score in T20Is after a 25 and plus opening run stand.

2002 – Last time when India lost an International game at Cuttack. Since then India won 5 out of 6 ODIs with one of them getting washed out.

18 – Number of bowling innings Imran Tahir has taken to open the bowling for his side for the first in T20Is.

3 – Number of man of the match awards Albie Morkel has received so far in T20Is. Only JP Duminy and AB de Villiers from South Africa with 5 match awards have more than Morkel in T20Is.
