Statistical Highlights – India vs South Africa ODI Series, 2015: South Africa registered a history series win against India as they won their 1st bilateral ODI series on Indian soil. The series between the 2 exciting ODI playing nations went neck to neck in first 4 games. However, South Africa took away the series by trashing the hosts in a one-sided affair in the deciding 5th ODI. Here we look at the all possible stats recorded during the series.

358 – Runs scored by AB de Villiers in this series. He is the top scorer with Faf du Plessis and Quinton De Kock standing 2nd & 3rd with 323 and 318 runs respectively.

3 – 3 South Africans scored more than 300 runs in this series. This is only the 3rd time when 3 players from the same team scored more than 300 runs in a bilateral ODI series. The last that this happened it was achieved by Sri Lankan batsmen in 2006 against England in England.
