Every player who is a part of cricket, dreamt about leading his country once in his career and there is no greater honour for a cricketer than to represent his country at the highest level as captain. We have seen many great captains like Ricky Ponting, MS Dhoni, Kumar Sangakkara etc.
But most of them are batsmen or wicket-keeper but we have not seen that many bowlers who had captains of their respective teams but there were many captains wo had actually led their team like Imran Khan, Anil Kumble etc.
We often hear that captaincy invariably affects a cricketer, either for the better or the worse. But there are many bowlers who had won many Test matches by picking up wickets as a captain of the team and helped the team to win matches therefore proved that statement wrong.
Here we have presented a table which contains captains with most Test wickets. Here we have included only captains who had taken more than 50 Test cricket while leading the country in Test cricket.
