Hardik Pandya is one of the most celebrated all-rounders going around and his record speaks volumes of his prowess. The dasher’s batting blitzes can wreak havoc in the end overs and his happy knack of taking wickets makes him an even greater asset. Not to forget, the Junior Pandya is a live wire on the field. Besides troubling oppositions with his three-dimensional abilities, the cricketer is also known for his style statement.

On numerous occasions, Pandya has given fashion goals to fans with his sumptuous outfits. Pandya’s appearance once again caught attention during the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka. The all-rounder was sporting a blue headband which was going very well with India’s navy blue kit. Veteran England pacer Stuart Broad was also amused with the Pandya’s headband. After all, he also likes to wear one.

Stuart Broad impressed with Hardik Pandya’s look

Broad, who only plays Test matches for England nowadays, is seen sporting headbands in the majority of his games. Hence, he was amused seeing the Indian all-rounder joining the bandwagon. “Love it @hardikpandya7,” wrote the veteran pacer on Twitter while reacting to a post comparing his headband look with Pandya’s.

Speaking of the opening ODI match, Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and opted to bat at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Notably, both teams have taken the field without the services of their key players. While most of the Team India regulars are currently in England for a five-match Test series, Sri Lanka have a depleted squad due to injury and other issues.

Many fans and experts have been backing India to win the ODI series considering the strength of both teams. The expected happened as Sri Lanka batsmen failed to put up an impressive show. Their top order couldn’t do much as wickets fell at regular intervals While the likes of Avishka Fernando, Charith Asalanka, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa got starts, none of them could play a big knock.

Hence, Sri Lanka will have to put up a brilliant bowling show to avoid a defeat. At the same time, the visiting team must not be complacent as the Lankan Lions are playing at their home.
