Mollie King, who got engaged to Stuart Broad earlier this year, said that she wishes to have a ‘really big family’ with the England cricketer. Back in the month of January, the duo got engaged and sealed the deal with a passionate lip-lock.
In an Instagram post, the 34-year-old Broad called the moment, ‘the best way to start 2021’. King, in her post, called it ‘the most magical start to the New Year’. The couple started dating in 2012 and in 2018, reports said that they separated.
However, things seemed to have fallen back in place again. King, a 33-year-old Brit singer, said that she’s lucky to have fallen in love with Broad and she has big plans for their future as well.
The next thing is hopefully to have little ones running around: Mollie King
“I definitely want a family. It’s something I have always, always wanted. I want a really big family actually. That is something I’d love to have in the future. My biggest dream of everything is to fall in love and I feel so lucky that I have met Stuart.
“The next thing is hopefully to have little ones running around at some point,” King was quoted as saying to UK’s entertainment website, Female First.
Earlier, King talked about the agony she has had to face when Broad stays away for serving the national cricket team. Despite not being able to spend a lot of time with him, King reckoned that their relationship has worked out well thus far.
“I am craving to see him all of the time because he goes away for such long stints. I think it does really work for us. If you had asked me at the start if I’d think that was my ideal scenario I would just tell you I miss him too much. Which I do. But when he comes home it feels really fresh. We can’t wait to hang out with each other all the time, so it has definitely worked so far,” she had said.
Broad is currently gearing up to play in the two-match Test series against New Zealand from June. Later in August-September, he’s also likely to be a part of the Three Lions’ squad for the five-match Test series against Virat Kohli’s India.
