Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) donate INR 10 crores towards Coronavirus relief measures
SRH clinched their maiden IPL title in 2016 where the Orange Army defeat Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final of the tournament.

The outbreak of coronavirus has taken a toll on human existence and more than 88,000 deaths have been registered across the globe. Talking about India, the country has witnessed more than 5000 confirmed cases and 166 deaths have been recorded so far. India is currently under a 21-day lockdown and all sporting events have also been affected due to the pandemic.
The much-awaited IPL 2020 also has clouds of cancellation hovering around it as the tournament is on the verge of being called off. The cash-rich league was slated to begin from 29th March. However, in the wake of the pandemic, IPL was further postponed to April 15. But considering the stern situation across the globe, the possibility of the tournament of happen looks slim.
Meanwhile, many cricketers including Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma have stepped up and contributed to PM-CARES Relief Fund to aid in the battle against coronavirus outbreak. With no further news about the commencement of IPL 2020, one of the franchises– Sunrisers Hyderabad have also decided to contribute their bit to tackle the pandemic.
The David Warner-led side has announced to donate INR 10 crores towards COVID-19 relief measures. “Sun TV Group (SunRisers Hyderabad) is donating Rs.10 Crores towards Corona Covid-19 relief measures,” tweeted the franchise.

Sunrisers Hyderabad lifted the IPL trophy in 2016
SRH clinched their maiden IPL title in 2016 where the Orange Army defeat Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final of the tournament. In the IPL 2020 Auction, the David Warner-led side acquired the services of two prolific all-rounders– Fabian Allen and Mitchell Marsh.
Several reports have suggested that IPL 2020 might be scheduled later in the year before the commencement of T20 World Cup 2020. Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking forward to adding another trophy in their showcase if the league kicks off in the near future. Besides skipper David Warner, SRH also have many match-winning talents like Rashid Khan, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey in their arsenal.
