Paint company Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd (KNPL) announced its partnership with the defending champions of the Indian Premier League Sunrisers Hyderabad as the Official sponsor for the 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

According to a release, the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise who executed their plans perfectly to clinch the trophy last year, will be having Kansai Nerolac’s logo on their helmets as part of the association. KNPL director decorative Anuj Jain seems extremely delighted to have partnered with the franchise and expressed his thoughts on the same.

The director of the company also praised the team and its players who won the trophy last year saying that the Hyderabad franchise has a wonderful pack of players who are capable of repeating the performance they had produced previously.

“We are delighted to associate with Sunrisers Hyderabad, a team known for an excellent blend of talented players who gloriously won the IPL title last year.”

“Our association with Sunrisers Hyderabad resonates with the values of reliable performance against all odds and embodies the spirit of teamwork and simplicity.”

CEO of the Sunrisers Hyderabad also commented on the association and is extremely proud to have partnered with such a prestigious brand.

Kansai Nerolac had earlier associated with the Gujarat Lions as their official sponsor in 2016. This is the second time year in a row the brand has associated with an IPL team. However, Nerolac will continue to be associated with the Gujarat franchise for this year’s edition as well.

Sunrisers Hyderabad starts their campaign against last year’s finalist Royal Challenger’s Bangalore on Wednesday, April 5th. Hyderabad will clearly start as the favourites in this match as they have an injury free team when compared to Royal Challengers Bangalore who would miss the services of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the first match.
