Suresh Raina, Priyanka Chaudhary expecting their first child

Exciting times awaits for Indian cricketer Suresh Raina as he prepares embrace fatherhood. The cricketer revealed the news on Instagram confirming that the baby is due next month. Raina is currently busy leading the Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL) while his wife, Priyanka Chowdhary, is currently in Holland.

The cricketer posted an Instagram of his wife Priyanka practicing putting diapers on a baby doll. The caption with the picture read, “Keep practice, hard love, we have to do it together very soon”.

Priyanka was wearing a “new mom” sash in the picture, presumably from her bridal shower.

Raina said “I’m really blessed as I’m going to be a father soon. The baby is due next month. In fact, I have just returned from Holland a few days back as Priyanka is based there. My mother is already there with her, so she is being taken care of. I will also go back in a while.”

The 28-year-old married Priyanka in the month of April last year and spent several months honeymooning in Europe. The soon-to-be-mom is based in Amsterdam where she works as an investment banker. The cricketer is expected to fly to Holland soon. He celebrated his first wedding anniversary just a few days ago.

Suresh Raina is doing a great job in the IPL with his new franchise Gujarat Lions, having led them to three back to back wins in the tournament.
