Rajnikanth’s blockbuster Kabali’s release has seen the viewership and fanbase stretch into the cricketing fraternity as well. In spite of being left out of the West Indies tour, Suresh Raina has conceded to being a fan of Rajnikanth and sent his social media to handle Instagram into a frenzy when he posted the promotional picture of the superstar’s new movie ‘Kabali’. The tagline read: “Amazing Movie First Day First Show ! Let the festival begin #thalaivar #kabali #nerrupuda #magizhchi #rajnikanth sir”

For most, it certainly does not come as a surprise as Raina was a part of the Chennai Super Kings IPL franchise for the better part of his IPL career. With most companies awarding holidays to their employees courtesy of this movie release, this movie will certainly be the pinnacle of Rajnikanth’s illustrious 41-year film career.

Rajnikanth has previously played roles that require him to play a younger age than he usually is. However, Kabali is something that is set to do away with the previous trend. Kabali is set in Malaysia and Rajinikanth’s character is that of an underworld don with the movie directed by relative newcomer Pa Ranjith. So revered is Rajnikanth in the country that he is revered as a God in the land.

However, Suresh Raina is not the only one who has come out in support of the movie. Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin had also tweeted a similar meme of sorts a few days back that focussed on the hype surrounding the movie’s release in a humorous way. Moreover, Ashwin had tagged skipper Virat Kohli and coach Anil Kumble for to the same.
