Sushant Singh Rajput compares MS Dhoni with popular animated characters 'Motu Patlu'

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who will be seen portraying MS Dhoni in the upcoming biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, recently compared Dhoni with cartoon characters Motu Patlu during the trailer launch of their animated movie.

Talking about the similarity between MS Dhoni- The Untold Story and the animated film, Sushant Singh Rajput said, “The enigmatic MS Dhoni is an icon for the youth and has a huge fan following and I hear the awesome twosome Motu Patlu have an equally large fan following among the kids of the country. It is a pleasure to be a part of the announcement of the Big Screen Debut of these much-loved characters Motu Patlu who have a significant influence on children.”

Motu and Patlu also had a few words to say on having the calm and composed Sushant Singh at the launch of the trailer. “Children are huge fans of MS Dhoni just like they are huge fans of ours. Hence having Sushant who playing “Captain Cool” share a platform is sure to get our fans excited and entertained on both our movie maiden and MS Dhoni – The Untold Story that releases on September 30th.”

The makers earlier released a new still from their new song in the film called Jab Tak, that is picturised on Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani, and will be setting up their romance. Apart from this duet, two other songs have already being released.

In a recent video released by producers Fox Stars, MS Dhoni and Sushant Singh Rajput were seen promoting their movie in a very light hearted manner. The video shows MS Dhoni looking very curious about the story of the video while Sushant keeps on adding oil to his curiosity.

The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, is set to be released on the 30th of September later this year. Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput, who plays the lead role, the movie also stars Disha Patni and Anupam Kher in important roles.
