Baroda Cricket Team1. Bowlers star for Gujarat:

Three wickets each for Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Dahiya helped Gujarat restrict Bengal to 101. In reply, a half-century from the in-form Gujarat skipper helped his team overhaul the target with consummate ease. It was a disappointing effort from Bengal in this crucial match played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.

2. Punjab too strong for Jharkhand:

Two wickets each for Harbhajan Singh, Siddharth Kaul and Gurinder Singh helped Punjab restrict Jharkhand to 104. Only opener Virat Singh managed to impress for Jharkhand. In reply, an unbeaten half-century from Pargat Singh helped his team overhaul the target in 17.3 overs.

3. Baroda outclasses Goa:

Irfan Pathan’s unbeaten 49 off 29 and thirties from opener Kedar Devdhar and Hardik Pandya helped Baroda post 154/2 and in reply Goa was bundled out for a paltry 82. Irfan, Rishi Arothe and Hardik took two wickets each as none of the Goan batsmen barring Deepraj Gaonkar (48) and Reagan Pinto (11) managed to register a double digit score.

4. Hyderabad beat Haryana:

Forties from Akshath Reddy and Hanuma Vihari helped Hyderabad post 173/8. The Haryana bowlers were guilty of bowling as many as 10 wide balls. Two wickets each from Ravi Kiran and Vihari and economical spells from others helped the southern side restrict their northern counterparts to 138/7.

5. Delhi hammer Assam:

Fast bowler Subodh Bhati’s four-for, leg-spinner Shivam Sharma’s 3-wicket haul and Pradeep Sangwan’s 2 wickets blew away Assam for just 44 in 12.1 overs in a one-sided contest. Parvinder Awana took a wicket off the first ball of the match and started the day on a perfect note. The formality of run-chase was completed inside 10 overs.

6. Railways disappoint against MP:

Ashwin Das’ brilliant spell and Ishwar Pandey’s two early wickets helped Madhya Pradesh bundle out Railways for 103. In reply MP lost 4 wickets however overhauled the target in 16.2 overs. Their openers Zafar Ali and Jalaj Saxena took the game away from Railways.

7. Tamil Nadu beaten by Vidarbha:

Baba Aparajith top scored for TN with 41 while R Satish made a 17-ball 32 to take their team to a challenging total of 150/8. Though, this didn’t prove enough as Vidarbha openers Jitesh Sharma and Faiz Fazal shared a brilliant 87-run partnership to crush TN’s hopes for a win.

8. Tripura beat J&K:

A disciplined bowling effort from Tripura bowlers bowled out J&K for 119 in 19.1 overs. In reply, Tripura lost 6 wickets however managed to overhaul the target in 18.2 overs. Opener Samrat Singha’s 45 proved a vital knock in the run-chase.

9. Bowlers star in a Kerala win:

Batting first Kerala posted 165/9 against Saurashtra which eventually proved enough. Rohan Prem top scored with a polished 56 and Sachin Baby made a brilliant 30-ball 43 for Kerala. Three wickets each from Manu Krishnan and Prasanth Padmanabhan helped restrict Saurashtra to 115/9.
