Filled with top-class talent and skills, T. Natarajan has turned out to be the man India was looking for all this while. His fairytale saga started from IPL 2020 when he turned heads with his pinpoint Yorkers and got named in India’s squad for Australia. He got the first chance to show his calibre when he replaced injured Navdeep Saini’s in India’s 3rd ODI against Australia. He picked two wickets by conceding 70 runs in 10 overs and gave everyone a glimpse of his capabilities.

In the recent while, he became the first Indian cricketer to mark his international debut across all the formats in a single tour. He has been amid a lot of praises for his constant brilliance in the tough tour, and in the same light, former Indian great Virender Sehwag has stepped up to congratulate him. The great batsman added that T Natarajan’s story is stuff made of dreams, and he is too happy for the talented pacer.

After flaunting his bowling prowess in the third ODI, Natarajan went on to become India’s integral part of the T20I squad. He was named as a replacement of mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy who missed his chance due to an injury. In the three T20Is he played, he named six wickets under his belt and kept bagging a lot of praises from big names in the cricket fraternity. India won the series 2-1, and he emerged as one of the most economical bowlers from the Indian lot.

The 29-year-old couldn’t have thought for a better day as he got his chance to pitch in India’s playing XI against Australia for the 4th Test in Brisbane. India’s major injury woes turned up to be a blessing in disguise for him as he got to mark his debut in Gabba. India is struggling big-time with its injury concerns where several crucial names are already out of the game. In the same line, Natarajan not only got his chance but bagged two wickets on the very first day of the Brisbane Test.
