Top Picks:

Daniel Bell-Drummond, the stand in skipper for Kent, has been in phenomenal form this season having scored 125 runs in 3 innings at an unbelievable strike rate of almost 190. He has got starts in every game and even scored a belligerent 72 of just 32 balls against Middlesex. He has been consistent in franchise cricket having scored in excess of 300 runs each season in the last 5 years, and in the form he is in, he could be unstoppable if he gets going.

The 22-year-old Zak Crawley is having a memorable English summer. After having scored 267 for England in a Test innings against Pakistan a few weeks back, he has started the T20 Blast with a bang as well scoring 85 runs in 3 innings at a strike rate of 173.5. His opening partnership with Bell-Drummond has been the highlight for Kent. The youngster is high on confidence and a big score looks very much possible in this game.

The naturally aggressive Philip Salt has been hitting the ball particularly well this season. While he hasn’t had big scores to his name and has scored 74 runs in 3 innings, his strike rate of 176 stands out. This year, Salt has scored 390 runs in franchise cricket at an average of 30 and strike rate of 168.8. In 2018 and 2019 too Salt had amassed over 900 runs at a strike rate of 157. A massive innings is surely due from the big hitter.

David Wiese, the South African international has been criminally underrated all these years but has time and again shown what he is capable of. His match winning innings of 79* of just 46 balls against Middlesex displayed his true prowess as a batsman. He has scored 122 runs in 2 innings and is yet to be dismissed. Add to that the fact that he can contribute with the ball as well makes him the perfect package for your team.
