The interesting thing about his career is that he went past MS Dhoni in terms of most T20I wins as a captain when they defeated Zimbabwe earlier this year in March. Even in his last game in the T20 World Cup 2021, he played a crucial knock of 31 runs off 23 balls as they posted a fine total of 165 runs on the board.

Talking about group two in T20 WC 2021 so far, Pakistan is leading the proceedings while Afghanistan are in the second slot. It remains to be seen how they would bring their action against New Zealand and India. Meanwhile, two teams from each group will race for the semifinals and Pakistan have won all their three games up till now.
