England will have scores to settle as they take on West Indies in match 14 of the T20 World Cup 2021. The encounter takes place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday (October 23). Both teams will also be starting their campaign with this game and would like to emerge victorious.
The Three Lions wouldn’t have forgotten the scenes of the 2016 T20 World Cup final when Carlos Brathwaite famously smashed Ben Stokes for four consecutive sixes in the final over to take West Indies to glory. However, more than five years have gone by since that game and neither Brathwaite nor Stokes is featuring in this competition. Both teams are standing in the start line as of now and would like to start their quest with an empathic win.
With both sides studded with T20 superstars, some T20 madness is on the cards. The Three Lions have done magnificently in white-ball cricket in recent years. While their batting line-up looks daunting, the bowling attack looks pretty fragile with Jofra Archer not available. The story is pretty much similar in the West Indies camp. Hence, the side which bowls well might cross the line.
