England would like to register another emphatic win as they take on Bangladesh in their upcoming assignment in the T20 World Cup 2021. The encounter takes place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (October 27). Having thrashed defending champions West Indies in their last fixture, the Three Lions would be high on confidence. On the other hand, Bangladesh would be gutted after failing to defend 171 against Sri Lanka.

Speaking of how England’s last fixture panned out, Adil Rashid unleashed a magical spell as West Indies’ destructive-looking batting line-up got skittled out for 55 in Dubai. Their chase, however, wasn’t very smooth as England lost four wickets before crossing the line. Nevertheless, it was a stellar victory and Eoin Morgan’s men won’t mind replicating their heroics.

Bangladesh, who cleared the preliminary round, met Sri Lanka in their first assignment in the Super 12 stage. The likes of Mohammad Naim and Mushfiqur Rahim scored half-centuries as Bangladesh posted 171/4. However, their bowlers couldn’t come to the party as the Lankan Lions walked away with a five-wicket win. Hence, Mahmudullah’s men would be raring to open their account against England.

Meanwhile, let’s look at important stats and numbers ahead of the 20th game of the T20 World Cup 2021:
