England are going strong in this T20 World Cup 2021. After thrashing defending champions West Indies in a one-sided affair, the Three Lions thrashed Bangladesh by eight wickets in their latest fixture. The Bangla Tigers never really looked in the hunt as England dominated them in all three departments. While their batters failed to put up substantial runs on the board, Bangladesh bowlers looked hardly effective.

Speaking of how the game panned out, the coin landed in Bangladesh’s favour and they surprisingly elected to bat at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. However, the decision never seemed apt as England bowlers took wickets at regular intervals. The likes of Tymal Mills, Liam Livingstone, and Moeen Ali had a good time with the ball. As a result, Bangladesh were restricted to 124/9 in their allotted 20 overs.

Chasing the modest total, England hardly looked in any sort of trouble. Openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler attacked bowlers from the outset and scored runs all over the park. The former scored a quick-fire half-century as the Three Lions crossed the line in 14.1 overs, winning the contest by eight wickets. Dawid Malan also played a handy 28-run knock.
