Although India couldn’t live up to the expectations in the T20 World Cup 2021, they finish the competition on a winning note. The Men in Blue thrashed Namibia by nine wickets in their last league-stage fixture at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This game also brought curtains to an era as Virat Kohli led India for the very last time in T20I cricket.
While he’ll continue to play the format, one won’t see him donning the captaincy hat. Nevertheless, he would be pretty pleased by the game India’s last fixture in the gala tournament panned out.
