Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi has expressed his admiration for MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot. It is known to all that the former India skipper has often dominated the opposition with his trademark shot. He is renowned for smashing the yorker and fuller-length deliveries out of the park by bringing in the helicopter shot. Often his unorthodox batting style has given headaches to the bowlers.

In an interaction with the International Cricket Council (ICC), Nabi was asked about the one skill he would like to steal from another player. The Afghanistan skipper gave it a deep thought and stated that he would like to have MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot in his arsenal. ICC took it to their official Instagram account to post the video of the same.

They captioned the post as: “Do you think we’ll ever see Nabi try and pull off Dhoni’s helicopter shot? 🚁#T20WorldCup.” The video then displayed a few instances wherein Dhoni hit his trademark shot.
