Fans must gear up for some exciting battle as Pakistan and Australia will meet in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2021. The encounter takes place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday (November 11). Having won their all five games in the league stage, Pakistan have been on a roll this competition and are deemed firm favourites for this fixture.
While the likes of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been sensational with the bat, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf have been among the wickets. It even won’t be wrong to state that the Men in Green have no box unchecked. However, the same can’t be said for the Australian team. Their middle-order hasn’t come to the part while the openers have got runs only in recent games.
Not to forget, they suffered a humiliating eight-wicket defeat against arch-rivals England. Hence, they won’t step into the contest as firm favourites. However, the fact of the matter is both teams are studded with stalwarts and this format is full of uncertainties. Hence, both teams can’t afford to put a foot wrong.
