With several exciting encounters are scheduled to take place in T20 World Cup 2021, the match between India and Pakistan has to be the mother of all clashes. The two arch-rivals will lock horns at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 24. Meanwhile, India have a perfect record against Pakistan in World Cup events. The two sides have met in 12 World Cup matches so far – 7 in ODIs and 5 in T20Is – and the Men in Blue crossed the line every single time. Hence, Babar Azam and his men will have the onus to defy history in Dubai. The two sides last met in the 2019 World Cup and India clinched the run-curtailed contest by 89 runs.

While the fans and experts are all hyped about the big game, Indian captain Virat Kohli asserted he treats the contest as just another game of cricket.

“I have just approached this game as another game of cricket and I know there is a lot of hype around this game, more so with ticket sales and demands of tickets,” Kohli said during a virtual press-meet organised by the ICC on Saturday.
