Seeing that Khan is travelling in Australia, the T20 World Cup couldn’t stop itself from making him the request. And this what Shah Rukh Khan had to say:
Shah Rukh Khan’s relation with cricket
The experienced Shah Rukh is associated with the game of cricket for over a decade now. He is the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the two-time champions of the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL). He has been with the franchise ever since 2008 and has been seen cheering for them.
Khan is also one of the owners of the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). TKR won the championship back in 2017 and 2018 under the leadership of Dwayne Bravo and Khan would be hoping for the franchise to put up another decent show next time around.
