In the cricketing world, there are many people involved who help the teams prepare in the best way behind the scenes. One of those important people is a ‘team boy’ who helps the players and staff in their daily training sessions and assist in many other tasks. It was very unfortunate for Masum Gazi, who was left unemployed due to the absence of suspended franchise Barisal Bulls in the BPL 2017.

But the authorities were very touched after watching a show regarding the team boy’s helplessness and decided to hire him in the team for the fifth edition of the tournament. It was a great gesture by the franchise and it delighted Masum pretty much. He felt relieved and happy after getting the job and also thanked the channel for telecasting the show.

Feeling of happiness and relief

The new job and the opportunity was a big sigh of relief for young Masum who was jobless after the suspension of Barisal Bulls team for the coming season. Gazi also admitted that many cricketers and his friends have been there in his bad times and he is very grateful to them. He also specially thanked the DBC Channel which showed the team boy’s lifestyle after being jobless and supported him in this cause.

“I’m so happy and feeling relieved. At last I have found a place. I’m also thanking DBC and all those who stayed beside me. Many of my friends and cricketers of my surrounding helped me a lot. I am grateful to all of them, ” he said.

The newly appointed team boy of Rangpur Riders also revealed that the opportunity of working with the team to which has Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Mortaza is a lucky break for him. He also talked about giving his hundred percent to the franchise.

“I’m enjoying a lot to find the scope to work with a good team. I’m feeling extremely lucky to work in team where Mashrafe belongs. I’ll try to provide my hundred percent for this team,” Gazi concluded.
