A few days ago, it was Afghanistan’s star bowler Rashid Khan who had a memorable birthday as his side decimated Bangladesh in the Asia Cup on his birthday. On Sunday, India’s Ambati Rayudu had his special moment as Rohit Sharma’s men bulldozed arch-rivals Pakistan in their second encounter in the Asia Cup. It was a memorable birthday celebration for him after the game as the mood in the camp was electric.

Rayudu returned unbeaten on 12 along with Rohit Sharma (111 not out) after the latter’s 210-run opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan (114) blew away Pakistan in a complete mismatch of an encounter. Continuing with their dominant form in their previous face-off when they won by 8 wickets with 21 overs to spare, India hammered the opponents by 9 wickets this time to storm into the final of the tournament.

Jadhav’s off-field footwork impressed everybody

The players celebrated Rayudu’ birthday thereafter and batting all-rounder Kedar Jadhav put up a special show with his dancing shoes, leaving everybody impressed. He made some cool moves including the moonwalk while tapping his foot to the popular 90s number “Churake Dil Mera…”, leaving his teammates in splits. He also performed on Salman Khan’s track “Oh Oh Jane Jana” and the video of these celebrations went viral on social media.

Jadhav though hasn’t got to bat much in this Asia Cup but his bowling has been clinical. He took three wickets for 23 runs against Pakistan last week while on Sunday, though he did not pick any wicket, but did well with the ball conceding 20 runs in three overs.

The Indian team members also smacked cake on the face of Rayudu who has made a comeback in the Indian team after a while.

The exhilarated fans, meanwhile, waited for the Men in Blue at their hotel and cheered as they entered the lobby.
The southpaw Dhawan, who had an ordinary outing in England during the recent Test series, has scored two centuries in the tournament and have picked as many Man of the Match awards so far.
