A tough and gruelling time awaits for the Indian cricket team when they face the West Indies in their own backyard in the seven-week long tour. The tour begins on July 21 but the team is already in the Caribbeans to soak up the atmosphere and get accustomed to the condition. And, it seems that they are finding it tough to adjust to the weather and atmosphere. In fact, they seem to be in awe of it.

Virat Kohli and Co. seems to be excited by its Caribbean sojourn and the enthusiasm was palpable in the images shared by some of the cricketers on social media sites from St Kitts. While some of them have hit the beautiful beach to unwind, others are just recharging their batteries in the resort they have been put up. After all, it’s important to be fresh ahead of a tough series which begins July 21.

The Indians are having a great time ever landing here. Head coach Anil Kumble had the boys out in the open for a session of outdoor yoga along with fielding coach Abhay Sharma for a yoga session in the very next morning after arrival. In the second half of the day, the team headed towards the beach for a session of beach volleyball.

Before arriving in the islands, the team underwent a preparatory camp National Cricket Stadium, Bangalore. The first couple of days saw team members getting involved in various practice drills.

The first Test will begin on July 21, the second on July 30, the third on August 9 and the last one on August 18.
