7. Rajasthan Royals- Shane Warne

The winners of the inaugural season had deified every odds. With a team comprising of unknown faces and few aging superstars of the game, nobody had expected Rajasthan to win. Well, this turnaround happened because of a mastermind named Shane Warne. The Australian superstar guided a weak team to glory during the first season of the IPL.

Since then, the Royals have had a rollercoaster ride. They tried every trick out of the permutations and combinations book, but nothing worked. Even after picking up the best overseas combination, they finished at the bottom of the table. Therefore, their best player is none other than Shane Warne! Till now, the leg spinner has been mentoring the youngsters at the Royals camp. 

In his IPL career, he has taken 57 wickets in four seasons. With the best bowling figures of 4/21, he was the most effective bowler for the Royals. In 2008, he took 19 wickets with the best bowling figures of 3/19. Talking about his career economy rate, he had an economy rate of 7.27, which is exceptional for a leg spinner in the shortest format. Therefore, he makes it to this list as the best player to represent Rajasthan Royals.
