Chennai Super Kings‘ official Twitter handle came up with a short video of former skipper MS Dhoni sharing his funny moments with Dwayne Bravo. Ruturaj Gaikwad was also present in the interaction alongside the host, and the veteran wicketkeeper explained the pictures from the field that were shown.

Dhoni and Bravo have played together for CSK colours for a long time and they are definitely two of the coolest customers on the field as well. While Dhoni was retained by CSK ahead of the mega auction this year, Bravo was roped in for INR 4.4 crores. The former West Indian cricketer recently had gone past Lasith Malinga’s tally of most wickets in IPL history and has still been quite effective despite his increasing age.

Dhoni revealed the funny moments with Bravo and revealed that he often says “my mind not working” in crucial times. A funny picture of Gaikwad and skipper Ravindra Jadeja hugging on the field was also shown, to which Bravo hilariously responded, “Rutu in love”. In the next image, Dhoni was seen having a conversation with Bravo and he says, “I think in the last 10-12 years, I haven’t told Bravo what to bowl, more often than not I tell him to bowl whatever you want, but don’t bowl this variation.”

In the next image, Dhoni was seen thinking behind the stumps which he described, “This is when Bravo gets hit and I am thinking should I give him the gloves and start bowling because I can’t bowl any worse.” Reacting to the final image, in which Dhoni can be seen pointing a finger skywards, he says, “I am telling Bravo that he can only bowl one wide an over, you can’t keep bowling 3-4 wides an over.”

Here’s the video:

Dhoni produced a vintage inning against the Mumbai Indians and finished off the game in style with 17 needed off the last over. The fans were ecstatic to see the veteran back at his best and no wonder, he is deemed as one of the best finishers in the game despite his international retirement.

Despite Dhoni’s good form, CSK has struggled to string up good performances and is currently languishing at the ninth place in the points table with just two wins in eight games. Their next encounter will be against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 1.
