The ASL Ice Bucket Challenge is the latest trend among celebrities world over then why would cricketers stay behind. The ALS has been around for quite some time now and is a challenge where one pours a bucket of ice cold water with a few cubes in it as well. While doing it nominates rather challenges others to do it as well. All you have is 24 hours time to either complete the challenge or donate an amount to a charity. This challenge has got viral on the social media and now celebrities are taking turns in accepting the task and nominating it ahead as well.
We guess it to be induced into cricketing fraternity by Chris Gayle who was the first among cricketers to get drenched and upload his video.
He was followed by West Indies team mates, Darren Sammy and Darren Bravo
English cricketers soon joined the stream Kevin Petersen was the first amongst the lot to make his ASL video and upload a single shot Ice Bucket Challenge video.

Among Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh was probably the pioneer followed by Robin Uthappa and Irfan Pathan who was challenged by Robin. Irfan further nominated Varun Aaron and Andre Russel of West Indies for the same.
Latest video that could be seen on social media is the one posted by Dale Steyn on his instagram account where he took it to the next level taking the ASL on a bungee rope. Steyn challenged former skipper Graeme Smith for an ice bath.
Among Indian domestic player’s Manish Pandey’s Ice Bucket Challenge video could be traced.
Another one is the latest uploads by Mumbai Ranji player Kaustubh Pawar who has now challenged Abhishek Nayar to either get an ice bucket bath or donate towards charity.
