The Hundred Women: Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues retained by their franchises

Several prominent England players will be leaving their respective franchises.

Indian batters Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Australian star all-rounder Ellyse Perry have been retained by their respective franchises ahead of 2022 Hundred, while several prominent England players will be leaving their respective franchises.

Among other players who have been retained by their respective franchises ahead of the second edition include batter Alyssa Healy, leg-spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington and South African trio of Dane van Niekerk, Marizanne Kapp, and Shabnim Ismail.

A total of 12 overseas have signed up for The Hundred

Apart from two Indian international players- Rodrigues and Mandhana, New Zealand batter Sophie Devine,  Lizelle Lee, Laura Wolvaardt, and Hayley Matthews are the 12 foreign players who have signed up in the tournament so far. With the inaugural Commonwealth Games women’s T20 tournament to take place between July 29 and August seven, all the players are expected to stay in England with Hundred starting from August 11.
