The young Indian cricket team arrives in Zimbabwe: The Indian cricket team arrives in Zimbabwe for their limited overs series against Zimbabwe that commences from July 10. The senior-most member of the 15-member squad, Harbhajan Singh tweeted about the team’s grandly resplendent welcome at a city hotel late Tuesday night.
“Arrived in Harare Zimbabwe. Good to be back and see the local drum players welcoming us at the hotel.good night india,” Harbhajan wrote on twitter.
It will be interesting to see how the second string Indian side led by Ajinkya Rahane performs in the series. India are coming from a disappointing series from Bangladesh and a lot is anticipated of this side to pick up themselves and perform well.
Team India is in Zimbabwe to play a 3 One Day Internationals (ODI) series which will be closely followed by a 2 Twenty-20 Internationals (T20Is).
Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on the teams arrival in New Zealand posted a picture on twitter which read: “Arrived in Harare Zimbabwe. Good to be back and see the local drum players welcoming us at the hotel.good night india”
