‘This is what I face’ – Wriddhiman Saha reveals a conversation he had with a journalist who warned him

The journalist stated in the message that Saha had not called him, and added that this insult will not be taken kindly.

Wriddhiman Saha has taken to Twitter to post a screenshot of a conversation that a journalist had with him. In the conversation, the journalist is asking Saha to do an interview with him.

The journalist also tells Saha to choose the person who can help him the most. The journalist further stated in the message that Saha had not called him, and even states that this insult will not be taken kindly.

The journalist even warns Saha that he should not have behaved in this manner. The Indian cricketer stated that after his contributions to Indian cricket, he is getting such messages from the so called respected journalists.

“After all of my contributions to Indian cricket. This is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone,” tweeted Wriddhiman Saha.

Wriddhiman Saha dropped from the Indian Test squad for the series against Sri Lanka

Wriddhiman Saha was not picked in the Indian squad for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Apart from Saha, even veterans like Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, and Ishant Sharma have faced the axe as well.

Saha has represented the Indian cricket team in 40 Tests and 9 ODIs. While the right-handed willow wielder has amassed 1353 runs in Test match cricket, Saha has scored 41 runs in the ODI format of the game. He has scored a total of 3 centuries in international cricket.

The 37-year-old veteran has also played 133 matches in the IPL and has scored over 2000 runs at an average of 24.53 and a strike rate of close to 130. Saha has also scored a hundred and 8 fifties in IPL cricket. He was bought by the Gujarat Titans franchise for a sum of INR 1.9 Crores in the 2022 IPL mega auction that was held on 12th and 13th February this year.
