It came as a big surprise for the fans of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma to see their favorite couple tie the know all of a sudden. Well, albeit it looked like a sudden wedding, things were actually planned long ago. It was a very secretive wedding and the ceremonies were kept private. But the stars could certainly not stop fans from imagining the ‘Virat ki baraat’.

A fan posted a series of hilarious tweets that described the potential invitees of the Virat ki baraat. It is a hilarious collection of pictures that ideally describe the cliched guests that are on invitee list for any typical Indian wedding. Indian weddings are grand affairs with a lot of guest being invited. There are typical characters that one is bound to see at an Indian wedding, especially in the ‘baraat’.

This tweet thread, posted by a fan with Twitter handle of ‘Yo Yo Funny Singh’, sees the first guest image of Ravi Shastri – the angry uncle who was promised the expensive liquor but could not get one. The picture used to describe the same is hilariously funny too.

MS Dhoni features in the Virat ki baraat as the ‘zimmedar bada bhai’, which translates to ‘responsible elder brother’. Similarly, there is Gautam Gambhir, who is known to have had some fights with Kohli on the field, shown as the neighbour who did not get the invite. Shikhar Dhawan, the man who is full of swag, is seen as the NRI cousin of the groom.

How could one forget Danielle Wyatt. The English cricketer, who had proposed Virat Kohli back in the year 2014, is seen as ‘Madam Elizabeth’ from the movie Lagaan, who had heart broken.
