Tickets for Pakistan v World XI series are now available online

All the three T20 matches will be played at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore.

The tickets for the highly anticipated series between the World XI and Pakistan XI are now available online. The two teams will lock horns in a series of 3 T20 games, starting from September 12. The 2nd T20 match will be played on 13th September followed by the final one on 15th September. The tickets, ranging in prices from Rs 500 to Rs 8,000, can be purchased from www.eticketing.pk/worldxi, the Pakistan Cricket Board tweeted on Friday.

All the three encounters will take place in the Gadaffi Stadium at Lahore. Ticket counters will be set up after Eidul Azha holidays inside Gaddafi Stadium and different banks. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed will lead the side for Pakistan while Faf du Plessis will play as the captain of the World XI side. Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal will also participate in the series. Hashim Amla, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Imran Tahir will fill in from South Africa. Former West Indies skipper Darren Sammy along with spinner Samuel Badree will be soon sporting the World XI’s colors too. The series promises to be a thrilling one as both the sides are boosted by some big names and it will be interesting to see if Pakistan can clinch the trophy for their home crowd.

Former West Indies skipper Darren Sammy along with spinner Samuel Badree will be soon sporting the World XI’s colors too. The series promises to be a thrilling one as both the sides are boosted by some big names and it will be interesting to see if Pakistan can clinch the trophy for their home crowd. To build up excitement for the upcoming games, the PCB officially started a countdown to the historic series on Thursday, by setting up a timer outside the Gaddafi Stadium.
