Former West Indies pacer Tino Best and the current English opener Alex Hales recently engaged in a war of trolls on the micro blogging site Twitter. The Windies pacer started off the Twitter battle when he tried to troll Hales over a pull shot. The backdrop of the entire conversation was set up during the first ODI between England and West Indies.

Team England beat Windies by 7 wickets in the match. With the defeat, Windies are now out of the race for direct qualification for ICC World Cup 2019. During the match, Alex Hales hit two beautiful pull shots off the bowling of Jerome Taylor. In the very first over, Hales pulled Taylor for a four over deep square leg. It was bowled at a pace of 82mph.

Soon, in the next over that Jerome Taylor bowled, Hales came up with an even better pull shot. He pulled Taylor off his front foot. This was a better delivery for the fact that it was bowled at 85mph. It was right after this when Tino Best tweeted to troll Hales. He remarked that pulling at 84mph is far easier than doing it on a 90mph delivery. He wished he could have a crack at Hales.

“Wish I had bowl at this one Hales bk then let’s see u pulling at 90+ not 84mph lol. would of enjoyed cracking that Nut hahah,” tweeted Tino Best.

Hales comes up with epic reply

Well, the English opener was spot on in his reply as he trolled Best back. He mentioned that he has already smashed Best enough during the time when the latter was at his peak in the year 2010. Hence, he inferred that the result would have been no different had Best bowled to him in present day too.

“I faced you in 2010 mate in your peak. You literally couldn’t land it on the cut strip #90mphDross,” responded Alex Hales in his tweet.
