TNPL Winners List from 2016 to 2025

The latest edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League came to an end with IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans emerging victorious in the grand finale against Dindigul Dragons at the NPR College Ground, Dindigul on Sunday, July 6. This was also the first-ever title win for the Tiruppur based franchise as the Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore-led side defeated the 2024 champions by a mammoth margin of 118 runs.

The franchise had started the tournament on a high and culminated their league stage campaign with 10 points after seven games, five of which were won comfortably by the side. The Dindigul Dragons were led by Ravichandran Ashwin, and the side came in as favourites for being the defending champions. They came close to retaining the championship, but were outplayed in the ultimate clash to walk away with as runner-ups.

Ace batter Tushar Raheja was the highest run-getter of the tournament. He scored 488 runs from nine innings at an average of 61.00 and helped his side touch glory for the first time. His 77 off 46 also earned him a Player of the Match in the finals against Ashwin & Co. On the other hand, Sonu Yadav, the Nellai Royal Kings pacer took the award for the highest wicket-taker of the 2025 edition of the state-based T20 tournament.
