Jofra Archer is surely the astrologer of world cricket. Many of Archer’s cryptic tweets have taken the internet by storm. Archer’s old tweets have constantly been the center of attention on social media, and some fans even believe that Archer has the ability to predict the future.
And, another tweet of Archer has hogged the limelight now. The tweet in reference is dated 31st March 2016, and Archer had tweeted that the day will belong to Virat Kohli. Now, the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand is underway, and Virat Kohli was the talisman for the Indian side on Day 2(the first day was completely washed out).
The Indian skipper was unbeaten on 44 at the end of Day 2. But then, the Indian batting legend was removed early on Day 3 for the same score by New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson. Kohli was struck plumb in front of the stumps and walked back to the pavilion after facing 132 deliveries.

Kyle Jamieson’s five-wicket haul helps New Zealand bundle India out for 217
Kyle Jamieson was the wrecker-in-chief for the New Zealand side with the red cherry in hand in the WTC Final. The tall Kiwi pacer always kept the Indian batsmen guessing. He extracted movement in the air and also off the pitch to flummox the Virat Kohli-led side. Jamieson scalped a sensational five-wicket haul and gave away just 31 runs in the 22 overs that he bowled. Apart from Jamieson, the likes of Trent Boult and Neil Wagner scalped a couple of wickets each.
For India, the top scorer was vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane. In a patient vigil that lasted 117 deliveries, Rahane scored 49 for his side. His innings was embellished with 5 crisp boundaries. At the time of writing, the New Zealand openers have safely negotiated 19 overs, and their scorecard reads 31/0.
While Tom Latham is unbeaten on 16, Devon Conway has faced 51 deliveries and is unbeaten on 14. The Kiwis still trail the Indian first innings total by 186 runs at the time of writing.
