After a gap of more than a year, India are set to play their first match at home. India’s last home series was against Australia in January 2020 before action around the world came to a standstill in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The upcoming assignment against England will see India play four Tests, five T20Is, and three ODIs.

The Test series will start the international action in the country. The first two Tests will be held in Chennai before both the teams move to Ahmedabad for the next two games. After the Test series, they will also lock horns against each other in five T20Is and three ODIs. The Test series will be of huge importance for both sides as its outcome will decide their fate in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship.

With New Zealand already taking one finalist’s spot, the other is up for grabs. Both India and England are still in the race for the final that is scheduled to take place at the Lord’s in June. With so much at stake, players from both sides will be determined to put up good efforts. And while only time will tell how the players perform, we are taking a look at five batsmen who have dominated the India-England Tests with the bat.

Here is the list of top 5 highest run scorers in India vs England Tests
