Tweets flood on India’s Independence Day

15^th August 15, 2014 the Republic of India celebrates its 68^th Independence Day and team India is preparing for the Oval test. Away from celebrations and rejoice MS Dhoni & Co. have a bigger test, the last chance and challenge. A win here would level the series and help them savior pride, come back home with heads held high, while a loss would mean yet another series gone wrong.

In India though the point of discussion today is the occasion of Independence that they fought for and won form  England similar opponents as they have on the battle field of cricket . On the Day not only Indian cricketers but, people associated with the sport from around the world came forward on twitter to wish India on its Independence day and twitter soon flooded with similar tweets.

Easter day Indian cricketer Bishan Bedi was among the first few to wish fellow countrymen his, twitter handle @BishanBedi read “Wishing all Indians Globally Happy Independence mentally!!”  and was followed by Adam Gilchrist as the Aussie tagged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet @gilly381 “67 years of Independence, congratulations India! Have a great day. @narendramodi”

Commentrator Dean Jones joined the list of non Indians wishing the country @ProfDeano
