The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma set the stage on fire with his swashbuckling knock of 118 in Indore during the second T20I against Sri Lanka on Friday. In the process, he equalled the world record of David Miller to score the fastest century in the shortest format at the international level. The cricketing fraternity was literally thrilled to see the sublime hitting of the Hitman and hailed him for smashing sixes with utter ease. However, Miller also was in awe of Rohit’s performance and congratulated him on Twitter to which Rohit himself replied as the conversation between the two is being loved by the fans.

David Miller has launched an assault on Bangladesh bowlers when the Tigers had travelled to South Africa to breach their fortress. The left-hander was so pleasing to the eyes as he was smashing the bowlers all around the park. Moreover, he is also not the opener like Rohit Sharma who is mostly benefitted from the powerplay overs. Though the record has been equalled now and it should not be surprising if Miller comes up with yet another huge knock with Pakistan touring them in January.

Miller and Rohit admire

As soon as Rohit Sharma smashed his 35th delivery towards the cover boundary, Twitter was flooded with the wishes as his fans and the cricketing world just felt blessed to witness it live. Miller wasn’t behind either as he was delighted to find a partner at the top of the tree. He hailed Rohit in his congratulatory tweet which read, “Congrats @ImRo45! What a performance.” There is no denying that even the South African is one of the cleanest hitters in the World and can hammer any bowling attack on his day.

Rohit Sharma undoubtedly must be the fan of his batting and both match their style of batting. Both of them love to brutally attack the bowlers and win the games single-handedly for their country. Rohit Sharma admired Miller’s talent in the same way in his reply which read, “Thanks @DavidMillerSA12 just trying to match up to your clean hitting.” This conversation is being absolutely loved by their fans and the tussle between the two to hit monumental sixes would be interesting one if Miller is picked by Mumbai Indians in the upcoming auctions of IPL.
