Interesting convo

Danielle Wyatt is a popular figure in India courtesy of her marriage proposal tweet for the Indian captain Virat Kohli in 2014. After the names of the players for the Women’s T20 challenge were confirmed, she took to Twitter to express her excitement and was thrilled to come back to India and especially Mumbai. She was in the country earlier this year for a series against the home side and did extremely well in both ODIs and T20Is. She retweeted the post of ICC and wrote, “Can’t wait for this! Back to Mumbai.”

However, Shubman Gill interestingly responded to her tweet and welcomed her to India assuring her that the wait will be worth. “The wait will be worth it. Hahah. Welcome to India,” he replied. Wyatt was quick enough to thank him and the conversation between the two summed up. The excitement for the game which will be played between BCCI XI and IPL XI is at its peak and the teams will be confirmed soon.
