Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa got married to his longtime girlfriend Hattie Leigh Palmer last week. Interestingly, the cricketer didn’t reveal the news and didn’t post any pictures of his wedding as well. However, it was Kate Willa, the company which designed the bridal wear for the wedding, that disclosed the news to the public. They posted two pictures of the adorable couple on their Instagram account and soon, the news went viral.

Both Zampa and Hattie look good together in the wedding and going by the pictures, they certainly seemed to have enjoyed it a lot. But it wasn’t easy for them. The couple had to postpone their wedding not once but twice due to COVID-19 pandemic and finally managed to get hitched last week in New South Wales.

Meanwhile, Twitter has been busy sympathizing with another Australia cricketer Marcus Stoinis who actually shares a very good bond with Adam Zampa. Time and again, while playing for Australia, Stoinis and Zampa have always been seen enjoying their time together and most of the times, that used to leave the Twitter in splits.

Both the cricketers also enjoyed similar limelight and have also before praised each other for keeping the spirits high in the dressing room. Even their Australian teammates have revealed that the duo share good camaraderie with each other and are very good friends.

Zampa to tour West Indies, Stoinis to rest

Meanwhile, Adam Zampa will be soon on the flight to West Indies where Australia are scheduled to play five T20Is and three ODIs starting from July 9. The leg-spinner was one of the few Australian players to pull out of the Indian Premier league (IPL) this season and has rested well during this period. He will be keen and raring to go in the Caribbean nation next month.

On the other hand, Marcus Stoinis played for the Delhi Capitals (DC) and only reached home late last month via Maldives where they had to stay due to ban on arrivals from India in Australia. Staying away from their families in uncertainties due to COVID has taken toll on the IPL-bound Australian cricketers it seems as all of them including Stoinis have pulled out from the West Indies tour.

Meanwhile, Twitter tried to pull Stoinis’ leg soon after the news of Zampa’s wedding went viral and came up with hilarious tweets and memes.
