Twitter lauds Virat Kohli for singing the national anthem in the Pro Kabaddi League 2019

Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, recently had a grueling campaign in the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales. He was excellent with the bat and helped the Men in Blue finish on top of the points table after the league stages. However, he got out for only a single in the semi-final versus New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester. India lost the game by 18 runs.

After the mega event, Kohli won’t be getting any rest and he is set to lead the national team in the tour of the West Indies, which starts on August 3. Kohli’s men are scheduled to play three T20Is, as many ODIs and a couple of Tests. Kohli’s leadership abilities have come under the scanner plenty of times and he’ll be looking to perform to expectations in the Caribbean Islands.

In the meantime, amidst some chock-a-block schedule, the 30-year-old has managed to take some time out for the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League. The dynamic cricketer attended the opening day of the Mumbai leg of the tournament on Saturday, July 27. He was present during the clash between U Mumba and Puneri Paltan, the ‘Maharashtrian Derby’.

He also graced his presence during the clash between the Jaipur Pink Panthers and Bengal Warriors. The Mumbai leg of the PKL is set to conclude on August 2. During his presence at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai, he also sang the national anthem before the start of the Mumbai leg. Kohli was wearing a brown outfit and looked smart in the outfit.

The cameras always panned towards him. The experienced campaigner enjoyed the superlative and raids by the players. The people around the Delhi-born Virat would’ve felt proud while singing the national anthem alongside the Indian captain.

Kohli oozed class during his stint at the venue and was undoubtedly one of the star attractions. Meanwhile, his fans were awestruck by him, singing the anthem. Subsequently, the netizens couldn’t stop showering praises on Virat for his act.
