India and Bangladesh are fighting it out for 2 points at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium at Bengaluru. MS Dhoni & Co. was put into bat by the Bangladesh, who won the toss in this crucial encounter. The pitch was expected to behave in the same way in did for the match between Australia and Bangladesh and Bangladeshi captain read the pitch beautifully.
India batted first on a pitch that is slow as it can get and tried to gain any sort of momentum. The openers tried their best, but none of the batsmen could hit the big shots that were needed in order to get India to the total they were looking for.
Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli all tried their best to hit boundaries but were only mildly successful. Mashrafe used his spinners and fast bowlers brilliantly and they in turn, gave their captain wickets at regular inroads into the Indian batting lineup and a pretty mellow last 5 overs meant that India could only make 146/7 in their 20 overs.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, started in a big way thanks to Tamim Iqbal’s brilliant hitting. He went after the young Bumrah and hit him for 3 boundaries in an over after he had dropped Tamim off the bowling of Ashwin.
He was given brilliant support by Shabbir Rahman who decided to explode from the start. He was going great guns before MS Dhoni brought on Suresh Raina and he lured Rahman outside the crease just enough for Dhoni to show his magic with gloves.
He waited for the split second where Shabbir’s feet were in air, to whip the bails off and ended Shabbir’s promising innings.
The twitter went abuzz with that and here are some of the best tweets:

Dhoni kept wickets for last ball without regular gloves on his right hands. Anticipated the need for a run out. God pic.twitter.com/Ym3CgO8oM0

Even with Photoshop Bangladesh can't do such stumping… it was that smart as he waited for Batsman to lift the leg..

The key to that stumping from Dhoni was that he waited for a bit and took the bails off just as Sabbir lost balance. #INDvBAN #WT20

Flash stumping by Dhoni could be the turnaround India were seeking. Next 2-3 overs decisive passage of play IMO #DilSay #Bing #INDvsBAN

Lol. How does Dhoni keep the count of seconds the batsman's foot is in air. Mystery!
— LOLendra Singh (@LOLendraSingh) March 23, 2016
Well, that's just brilliant from Dhoni! He whips off the bails and the replay shows Sabbir was in the air, stumped for 26. #BAN 3-69 #WT20

Excellent stumping from Dhoni and the batsman didn't even realise it. Against the run of play, Sabbir falls. It's 69/3 now. #INDvBAN #WT20

Out? Yes, says the third umpire. Margin call. Again, simply excellent glovework from Dhoni. Raina the bowler keeps striking. #INDvBAN #WT20

When Dhoni does it, 3rd umpire is a mere formality #WT20
