Twitter Reaction: Virender Sehwag announces retirement: Its official! Virender Sehwag has announced his retirement from internatioal cricket and Indian Premier League (IPL) with immediate effect.

Rumours had appeared on Monday, that Sehwag has announced his retirement, the cricketer took to various platforms and quashed the news.

A day after it, on his 37th birthday Sehwag himself took to twitter and announced his retirement. Some expected him to retire from international cricket but continue playing the IPL but in his statement he specified that along with all forms of international cricket he also retires from the IPL.

On the day Sehwag fans were busy wishing the cricketer a happy birthday, he has left all his fans saddened, since most of them wished to watch him play for India once again before he bid the final good bye.
