Twitter Reactions: Andre Russell and Yusuf Pathan stun RCB with their brute force

Royal Challengers Bangalore finally returned to their home ground to take on the Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR, who were soaring high with wins under their belt, but had to face a couple of losses coming into the game. RCB, on the other side, had a similar story. Both teams needed a win desperately to keep their spirits high.
Bangalore were put in to bat and the big surprise came with no Virat Kohli opening the innings. Chris Gayle went early but his opening partner, KL Rahul, continued his form from the previous game. Watching an aggressive knock from a classical player like Rahul is always enticing. He put on 84 runs with the skipper for the second wicket. He scored 52 off just 32 balls. Kohli was back to his batting best and scored yet another half-century. In the process, he bagged the Orange Cap too! Some late hitting from Stuart Binny, Sachin Baby, and Shane Watson saw RCB post 185/7 on the board. The highlight was Sunil Narine going for 45 runs in his 4 overs and Umesh Yadav going for 56!
Kolkata Knight Riders suffered early jolts in their run chase. Gautam Gambhir continued his consistent form with 37 off 29 balls. But a middle order failure saw the chase in doldrums. Just when everyone ruled out KKR, the two big boys at the crease, Yusuf Pathan, and Andre Russell, suddenly changed gears. In no time, the momentum shifted in the favour of Kolkata Knight Riders. The duo added 96 runs in just 44 balls and the storm simply blew away the hosts. Russell’s belligerent innings ended on 39 off 24 balls with 4 sixes and Pathan remained unbeaten on 60 off just 29 deliveries.

Boom or Bust time for KL Rahul…since #RCB has chosen to beef up their batting more, it's imperative to score 20-30 above par. #RCBvKKR
