Twitter Reactions: Australia beat England in a thriller to make it 2-0: Australia scored 309 runs for 7 in their 49 overs and the home team once again was asked to chase a total in access of 300. While England was in and out of the chase, some smooth, clean hitting from Aussie middle and lower middle order got them beyond England’s reach. A collective middle-order effort from the Aussies where three among five scored a half-century helped them to 309 after they lost opener David Warner to an injury which turns out to be a broken thumb and will keep him out of action for around 6 weeks.
With the bowling attack Australia has it would have required some supreme batting from England or below par second innings for the Aussies for them to lose the match. But brisk and threatening knock from the English skipper Eoin Morgan must have pushed the nerves of the visitors harder, but since it was a matter of one wicket, it finally came and Australia recorded their 2nd win in the series by 64 runs.

Last I remember a captain withdrawing his appeal was MS Dhoni vs England in 2011 after the 3rd umpire had given Ian Bell run out.
