Twitter Reactions: Bangladesh clean sweep Zimbabwe with 3-0 win: Mustafizur Rahman wreaked havoc, as Bangladesh completed another whitewash.

Bangladesh were brutal from the start, as the opening duo of Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes notched up 147 runs for the first wicket. Mahmudullah also chipped in with a fruitful half century, as the host piled up 276 in 50 overs. Luke Jongwe and Cremer picked up 2 wickets, while Panyangara, Raza and Waller picked up one wicket each.

Chasing a daunting 277, Zimbabwe lost their first wicket for 4 runs, while they were 3 down for 47 pretty soon. Sean Williams steadied the ship to a certain extent with his gritty half century while the rest of the batting line-up failed to convert the good starts.

Skipper Elton Chigumbura missed out on his half-century by 5 runs, as he departed for 45, courtesy 6 boundaries. Malcolm Waller’s cameo also went in vain, as the visitors could only manage 215, as they were bowled out with 39 balls to spare.

Mustafizur Rahman picked up 5 wickets for 34 runs, while the rest chipped in with 1 wicket each. It turned out to be a complete victory for Bangladesh, as the hosts dominated the entire series. Bangladesh won the match by 61 runs, as they cleaned up the series 3-0.

Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh) was adjudged the Man of the Match, while Mushfiqur Rahim (Bangladesh) bagged the Man of the Series.
