Twitter Reactions: Birthday wishes for Ravindra Jadeja and Karun Nair

Indian allrounder Ravindra Jadeja and middle-order batsman Karun Nair celebrate their 28th and 25th birthday respectively. Both the players are with the Indian Test team at the moment and are preparing for the fourth Test at Mumbai. While Jadeja has been in scintillating form with the ball as well as bat Karun who has a tremendous first-class record made his debut in the Mohali Test.

Jadeja forms a formidable pair with off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and the duo has made life difficult for the English batsmen on the tour thus far. Of late he has also started contributing with the bat and has scored a couple of half centuries in the ongoing series already. He narrowly missed out on an opportunity to score his maiden international century at Mohali as he was dismissed on 90.

Teammates, former teammates, coach, the BCCI as well as the ICC tweeted to wish them:

Rohit Sharma goes the Sehwag way while wishing Jadeja, asks him to reveal to the world his real age since he simply cannot be 28. “Wish you a great birthday jaddu. Please tell the whole world your real age. They think your 28 @imjadeja”

Viru Paaji compared his speed of getting through with an over to the speed of chips getting over as soon as the packet is opened. He also asked Jaddu to slash the cake in his Rajputana style.

Sehwag wrote- “Chips ki packet ki tarah jaldi over khatam karne waale @imjadeja ,Happy Birthday. Cut the cake in this style,by ghumaooing knife like sword.”

The ICC is hoping Jadeja makes it big in the upcoming Champions Trophy as well. “Happy Birthday to Man of the Match in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy Final, @imjadeja! Will he have as big an impact at #CT17?”
