Twitter Reactions: Colin Ingram powers Pakhtoons to their fourth win in a row

The Pakhtoons seem to have perfected their combinations and strategies in the T10 League. The side has now won four games in a row by defeating Maratha Arabians by 8 wickets. Also, they are now the leaders of the points table after this terrific show. Colin Ingram played a brutal knock in the encounter which helped his team get through quite comfortably.

Shafiqullah and Ingram deliver under pressure

In this version of the game, chasing is the best option if the captain wins the toss. Hence, Shahid Afridi didn’t have any hesitations in doing the same and put the Arabians into bat first. Even though their openers fell cheaply, the middle-order did more than a handful. Najibullah was the highest scorer in the innings with 36 runs.

He raced his way to that score in just 14 balls. Kamran Akmal was also brilliant with a 15-ball 25. An unbeaten 23 from 12 by Brendan Taylor and a fiery 7-ball 21 from Rashid Khan helped the Arabians finish with 125/6 in 10 overs. Mohammad Irfan and Liam Dawson picked up two wickets each.

Cameron Delport took up the role of an anchor in the chase and ensured that he kept one end tight. The batsmen who were at the other end literally went after everything. Andre Fletcher failed in this process and only managed to get 10 off 4 deliveries. Shafiqullah, who came in next, took the same approach and piled up 35 runs in double quick time. Colin Ingram finished off the proceedings with 42 in 13 balls while Delport was also unbeaten on 36 off 23 balls.

It was a great game of cricket to watch and Twitterati felt the same. Some of the fans expected for the game to go much closer but were delighted to see Colin Ingram smash the ball all over. They also hoped that a few players from here get an IPL contract.
