'May you continue to shine and inspire thousands' - Cricketers flood birthday wishes as run machine Virat Kohli turns 34

Team India star batter Virat Kohli is celebrating his 34th birthday on November 5, 2022. The former India captain is celebrating his special day away from India as he is in Australia for the ongoing T20 World Cup. 

Meanwhile, several cricketers including Glenn Maxwell, Shahnawaz Dahani, Suresh Raina, AB de Villiers, Shikhar Dhawan among others have extended their wishes on Kohli's birthday and wished him luck for his future. 

Indian teammates including KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya also extended their wishes to Kohli

Wishes are pouring in for legendary batter Kohli as KL Rahul, Shami, and Hardik Pandya have also joined the list to wish the former captain on his 34th birthday. Kohli is an inspiration for Hardik, Rahul, and a lot of other young players. Recently, the former India captain also helped Rahul come out of his form slump when he failed to go past double-digit scores in the three matches preceding the Bangladesh game.

Apart from the cricketing fraternity, Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma also posted a series of hilarious photos of Kohli on her official Instagram account.

"It is your birthday my love, so obviously, I chose your best angles and photos for this post. Love you in every state and form and way @virat.kohli," Anushka said in an Instagram post.

Ahead of their practice session at the MCG on Saturday, team India members also celebrated Kohli's birthday by cutting a cake. The entire team along with their families will reportedly attend a team dinner later in the evening.

Kohli has been in emphatic touch in the T20 World Cup as he has been India's top run-getter in the competition and will look to continue his good form against Zimbabwe. The Men in Blue are slated to take on Zimbabwe in both team's final group-stage encounter to be played at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on November 6 (Sunday).
